Our Cause for this year event
The First Colorado European Festival of 2008 was dedicated to a fundraising campaign for the Highlands Ranch Veterans Monument to be built near the library entrance in Civic Green Park. We were proud to pay tribute to veterans who served by giving their lives for our nation, and to honor those who are serving our nation today.
In 2009 the 2nd Annual Colorado European Festival supported the Children International Education program.
This year the 3rd Annual Colorado European Festival has selected a Highlands Ranch based company Care 4 Kids Worldwide as the main cause. Care4Kids Worldwide is a non-profit organization dedicated to making kids smile around the world. It focuses on the essential and lifesaving needs of children in poverty, such as:
-eliminating hunger
-providing shelter
-supporting education
-facilitating urgent medical care
In an effort to provide above mentioned care, Care4Kids Worldwide works directly with orphanages, shelters, half-way homes, and children on the streets worldwide.
